ABOUT US

Who We Are

Mission

Hope Grows Wild exists to reconnect people of all ages with the living world around them through immersive, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, inspire stewardship, and cultivate a lasting love for the natural environment. We travel directly to schools, communities, and events across New York State to make nature education accessible, joyful, and impossible to forget.

Vision

A New York where every child grows up connected to the natural world and chooses to protect it.

Who We Serve

Hope Grows Wild travels across New York State, from Long Island classrooms to Adirondack trails, bringing nature education to the people who need it most. We work with public schools, homeschool groups, scout troops, community organizations, and families. We actively prioritize underserved urban communities where access to green space and environmental education is limited, because wonder should not be a privilege. Every program is tailored to the audience, the ecosystem, and the moment.

Meet the Founder

Camille Warner is a wetland biologist, environmental educator, and the founder of Hope Grows Wild. With a Master's in Plant Science & Biotechnology and decades of hands -on environmental education across New York State, she has spent her career making nature accessible, joyful, and unforgettable. For Camille, hope is not just the name of her organization. It is something she has watched take flight in real time, in the wide eyes of students who just discovered something extraordinary and suddenly understand that the natural world belongs to them too.
